Latest News: 20/03/08: Mega depots plans unanimously rejected

Fantastic news, last night all seventeen councillors on the planning committee voted to reject the mega depot plans.  A packed Princes Hall with TV News coverage watched as SPLAT presented our substantiated concerns. 

Councillor, Stephen Parker, was impressive with the work he had undertaken as part of preparing a detailed analysis of the mega depot plans.  There was significant debate as issues were raised against each of the topics covered.  A further six reasons for refusal were agreed, including public concern based on material planning issues. 

Thank you for all who attended and offered their support.  We look forward to working with Hart Council in the forthcoming appeal – details to follow.
