Latest News: 10/06/07: Over 2,600 objections including consultees and politicians

 
 

Over 2,600 objections in less than a month!  There are now more objections to the new planning application than to the original application.  Hart District has never experienced the vast amount of objections and concerns raised from one proposal. 

We have continuously uncovered new substantiated information about the Pru’s real intentions and the impact it will have on our area.  The main result of our findings is the 24 x 7 mega depot is not a Sustainable Development if located at Pyestock.

More and more people are becoming concerned about the impact of the 24 x 7 mega depot proposal.  In addition to the thousands of local residents and workers, there are also Consultees objecting and raising serious concern!  Here is one of the Consultees and we will cover other Consultees in a later article.

Fleet and Church Crookham Planning Advisory Group (PAG) unanimously objected to the application during a meeting purely focused on the Pyestock mega depot proposal.  The Pru and their representatives declined to attend (another indication of their lack of caring for the local community).  Members of SPLAT presented to PAG (Fleet’s equivalent of a Parish Council) with an audience of 100 local people.  Here is one of the slides:
