The Pyestock Horror

Welcome to our SPLAT website, raising awareness of a current planning application to develop a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week massive 1,300,000 square foot warehousing and distribution centre (over 20 football pitches worth of concrete floorspace) between Farnborough and Fleet in Hampshire. 

We are a non-political group of concerned residents determined to stop this mega blot on the landscape and the impact it would have on our area.  Mega depots, like that proposed are normally located well away from residential areas with good infrastructure, a suitable and available local labour force without issues of traffic congestion.  We are very concerned at the irreversible impact a massive mega depot development operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week would have on our area.
